Tom Jachmann, head of Software and the Building Block “Intelligent Scanning and Acquisition” at Siemens Healthineers, Computed Tomography. He is responsible for the SW platform all modern CT scanners of the company run on. Tom has a strong Software and Software Architecture background. His experience is founded in working in or leading Software organizations in various industrial fields and countries, namely (Germany, US, Switzerland). He is working in a global SW organization with teams in Germany, China, India and Slovakia. Tom continues to believe in state of the art software development techniques and practices also for cyber-physical systems of systems where they do not yet feel native.
